長い東海道の道中最大の難所の一つである箱根の関所を目指して、険しい急勾配を登る旅人が描かれた五十三次の代表作のひとつ。そびえ立つ岩肌は様々な色で描かれている。湖のむこうには富士が対照的に優雅な姿をのぞかせている。 The uphill trek to Hakone station was known as one of the most hazardous spot in Tokaido route. Travellers are climbing up the last narrow stretch up to the station. The tower crag and range of colors with Mt.Fuji standing gently behind the lake in contrast istruly magnificent. 歌川広重　Utagawa Hiroshige (1797 〜 1858) 北斎に遅れる事40年ほど後に、江戸の下級武士（火消同心）に家に生まれる。小さい頃から絵の才を伸ばしはじめ、15歳で歌川豊広に師事、歌川広重の名を与えられる。27歳までは家督の火消同心を勤めていたが、以降絵師として専念する。35歳の時に幕府の行列に加わり東海道で京都まで上洛。その際に描いたと言われる「東海道五十三次」で一躍名をなす。ほかに晩年の「名所江戸百景」など代表作多数。独特の遠近法の描写が後にゴッホなどにも影響を与えた、北斎と並ぶ浮世絵風景画の巨匠であるが、広重は北斎のことを大変尊敬し、北斎存命中には度々そのもとを訪れ教えをこうていたようである。最近の研究では五十三次も実際には旅をしていないで描いたのではといった謎も浮かび上がって来ている。 1の裏面を土台に貼り付けます。 Valley fold and glue the reverse side of part #1 onto the base #1. 2Aの「旅人」は（貼り付ける前に）ガイドラインに従って 切り込みをいれ、立たせておきます。 2は（土台に貼り付ける前に）丘がカーブするように癖をつけておきます。 # 2A“travelers” to be popped up (folded) along with its cutting line before gluing onto the hill. Give a curve to the hill # 2 as shown before gluing to the base. 3と4、4と5の間に輪状の筒を貼り付け、前後の距離を保ちます。 Place and glue small tube-shaped spacers between 3&4, 4&5 to keep them separated from each other. 5Aの糊代は、図に有るように両端の A と B の場所に合わせて 貼り付けてください。 Glue both ends of # 5A onto A and B position of the base as shown. 壁には、パーツを複数同時に貼り付けてください。 Glue corresponding parts to the side wall at the same time. 8•11•13•15は、土台の裏面（底面）に貼り付けてください。 14は前面のフレームの裏側に貼り付けます。 Glue tabs of #8•11•13•15 to the outside, bottom of the base. (tabs should be visible on bottom of base) Glue tabs of #14 to the inside of front frame. (tabs should not be visible from outside) Secret のお勧めポジション。あとは自由に遊びましょう。 Here's suggested position for“secret”part. You may place it wherever you like, of course.
